About Dianne Rodger, FCGmA, RMV
Dianne has been creating jewellery since childhood - buying her first bag of beads at a local street fair when she was 7-years old. For this self-taught designer, working with her hands has always brought her a great sense of accomplishment and satisfaction..
"I adore and am obsessed with making things. I couldn't stop even if I tried! I love touching each material and element and shaping it into something that could become someone's favourite, go-to piece. My jewellery is a balanced blend of elegant and artistic, an effortless compliment to every day." -Dianne
In 2009, Dianne studied gemmology, earning her professional certification from the Canadian Gemmological Association in Toronto. She continued her studies by completing the world-renowned program in jewellery appraising from the California Institute of Jewelry Training in 2010
Every item is handmade in the beautiful Ottawa Valley at Dianne's home studio - a bright and cozy place, where Dianne's daughter's (Eliza - 8, and Alex - 4) like to visit, play, and help.
Next door to Dianne's studio is her husband, Andrew's, music space. The kids love going back and fourth between these two creative spaces.
